Sow in pots or trays of Yates Seed Raising Mix or sow direct into garden position. Press seed in and barely cover. Firm down and keep moist. Transplant or thin when big enough to be handled.
Best grown in full sun to semi-shade. Incorporate compost and Yates Blood & Bone into the soil before planting. Keep well watered. Remove flowering stems to encourage leafy growth. Grows well in pots.
Great companion plant for beans, onions, tomatoes and roses. Pick outside leaves to encourage centre growth. Water at base of plant to reduce risk of disease.
