Lawns • Weeds

Hi Adrian,

Thank you for contacting Yates.

Unfortunately, the product leaf curl copper fungicide is not registered for controlling mushrooms. Mushrooms are the fruiting body of a much larger fungal system. Fungus feed on organic matter, especially lignin-rich material found in mulch and woody material. Fungus are generally beneficial in the garden, they help to break down organic matter to assist in improving the soil. However, there are some funguses that have mushrooms that might be an issue, such as Armillaria Root Rot. Unless your lawn is deteriorating, there is no cause for concern.

Hope this helps and happy gardening :)
