Galahs are digging and eating my lawn. How to deter them and how and when to repair the lawn.
Lawns • Pests
Sounds like the Galahs are after the starchy rhizomes of your lawn.
You can try and offer them some seed, fruit or veges as an alternative food source.
They will move on eventually but if the damage is too great you can try fake owls and snakes - moving them around every few days or watering when they are at their most active.
In spring you can help your lawn bounce back with some renovation
