How do I regenerate a large lawn area after poison had been applied?

My Buffalo lawn was deliberately poisoned by a vandal. Someone put a thick green fluid in my large hose head and when I sprayed it killed a large area of lawn. How do I treat the soil to clean it?

Hi Peter,

Thank you for contacting Yates.

Sorry to hear such a horrible thing happened to your lawn. We are happy to help:
- Best to water straight after poisoning occurs;
- Try add some eco-Seaweed. It's 100% seaweed extract, which is approved for use in organic gardens. It helps reduce transplant shock, improves overall health and vigor and can also help reduce the incidence of diseases!
- Mow the lawn to remove any brown thatch.

- Most poison should be neutralised in soil within a couple of weeks.

Hope this helps and happy gardening :)
