Do you have any solution for controlling damping off problem?

My chives, basil, spinach and some other seeds do not grow or they all die when they are very small. I used to grow these seeds in the same place and they used to grow perfect. The stems of the germinated seeds become shrunk and all little plants fall down and die. But most of the seeds do not grow at all.

Yates Mancozeb Plus Garden Fungicide and Miticide is registered for the control damping off in seedlings. Prevention is better than cure so it is best to take other measures to avoid the fungal disease. These measures include sowing your seed thinly so that the seedlings are not too crowded and there is good air movement between them and avoiding overwatering. Disposing contaminated soil, potting or seed raising mix is also essential to prevent the spread of this disease.
