Why is the bark coming off at the base of my crab apple tree?
The bark is coming off at the base of my crab apple tree, what can I treat it with and will it survive?
Fruit and Citrus • Diseases
Your crab apple doesn't look very happy. The decay on the trunk should be removed with a clean knife until clean tissue is seen. Dilute 100g in 1 litre of water and repeat the application up to 5 times till natural healing commences.
