Product details

How

Press lightly (as seeds need light to germinate) into trays of Yates Seed Raising Mix.  Firm down and water with a fine mist spray. Keep trays in a warm place and retain moisture by covering with glass or plastic cling wrap untill seedlings appear. Transplant when large enough to handle.

Care

Choose a sunny, well drained soil. Add Yates Blood & Bone and Yates Garden Lime (to acid soils) before planting. Apply Yates Thrive Soluble Fertiliser fortnightly for stronger plants. Pinch prune early buds for heavier branching.  Protect from snails and slugs with Yates Blitzem.

Hint

Cut stalks back after first flush to encourage a second flowering. Autumn sown plants will need protection from frosts when young.

Storage

Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
