How to use

Directions for use

IMPORTANT: Keep the spray agitated (ie. shake at regular intervals). Thoroughly wet the leaves until drips occur. DO NOT spray if shade temperatures exceed 32°C, (35°C for citrus) or when soil is dry and plants are suffering from moisture stress.

Application rates

PLANT PEST RATE HOW TO APPLY
Citrus Citrus Leafminer

5mL in 1 Iitre of water Spray every 5 to 14 days as required during flush growth periods. (Spraying is 
more likely to be required in Summer and Autumn). Start spraying when flushes are about 4cm long. Ensure that all immature leaves are thoroughly wetted on both sides. Do not spray more than 8 times per season. IMPORTANT: Keep the spray well agitated (ie. shake at regular intervals).
Red Scale 15-25 mL in 1 Iitre of water Apply in December and/ or February-March. Use the higher rate for severe investations.
White Wax Scale
Pink Wax Scale
Apply December/ early January
Black Scale Apply mid December/ early January. Repeat in February.
Soft Brown Scale Apply January/ April. Use higher rate (Tas and WA) when infestation is severe.
Grapes Grapevine Scale 30mL in 1L of wate May be controlled by spraying the dormant vines in winter, preferably after pruning.
Roses, outdoor & indoor ornamentals Scale, Aphids, White Fly (Not Qld), Mealy bugs 30mL in 1L of water Apply as required.
Stone Fruit (eg peaches, plums, apricots) Pome fruit (eg apples, pears) San Jose Scale, Oyster Shell Scale, Spider Mites 20-30mL in 1L of water Apply during dormant period up to green tip (Pome Fruit), or bud swell (Stone Fruit). Use the higher rates in Qld.
       
WITHHOLDING PERIOD
DO NOT PICK EDIBLE FRUITS FOR 1 DAY AFTER SPRAYING.

How to prepare

Pour the required amount of water into the spray container, add PestOil (refer to table above) and shake well.

Precautions

DO NOT spray on Glen Retreat mandarins.

DO NOT combine with lime sulphur or other sulphur containing spray.

DO NOT apply for at least one month after spraying with Lime Sulphur or Sulphur

DO NOT use on delicate plants such as ferns, mosses, seedlings or on flowers. Avoid spraying directly onto bromeliads or palms.

STORAGE & DISPOSAL:

Store in the closed original container in a cool dry place out of reach of children. Do not store in direct sunlight. Dispose of empty container by wrapping in paper, placing in plastic bag and putting in garbage.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS:

WIll irritate the eyes. May irritate the skin. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. If product in eyes, wash it out immediately with water. Wash hands after use.

FIRST AID:

If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. Phone Australia 131126. If swallowed, DO NOT induce vomiting. Give a glass of water.
