OCP eco-lure Male QLD Fruit Fly Replacement Wick

The OCP eco-lure male Queensland fruit fly wick, when used in the eco-lure trap, is an excellent tool for monitoring fruit fly presence in your garden. The wick has been impregnated with a pheromone attractant and a non-organic insecticide. Male QLD fruit flies are attracted to the pheromone, enter the trap and are killed when they touch the wick. OCP eco-lure fruit fly traps are a monitoring tool only and should be used with a routine baiting program or cover sprays (or a combination of both) to effect control of Queensland Fruit Fly.

• Trap refill - refill wick for use in the OCP eco-lure fruit fly trap
• Male QLD fruit fly attractant - when used in the trap, the refill wick contains a powerful pheromone attractant that is irresistible to male QLD fruit flies from up to 400 metres away
• Kills male QLD fruit flies - once male fruit flies enter the trap, they are killed when they touch the wick, which contains a non-organic insecticide
• Targets only male QLD fruit fly - doesn't attract beneficial insects
• Easy to use - hang the trap within the foliage of the host plant at the beginning of the season and check regularly. When dead flies appear, you'll know flies are active and it's time to start fruit fly control measures

1. Push hook through hole in trap lid and into wick holder. 2. Hang in tree at head height. 3. Empty trap and record fly numbers weekly. 4. OCP eco-lure wicks should be replaced after 3 months.
