How to Grow

How
Choose a sunny, well-drained position with deep, soft, lump-free soil and mix in Yates Dynamic Lifter. Sow seed in rows, cover with loose soil and firm down. When growing in pots, choose a pot at least 30 cm deep and fill with Yates Premium Potting Mix. It's important to keep the soil or potting mix consistently moist. Thin excess seedlings after 4 weeks.
Care
Feed plants every fortnight with Yates Thrive All Purpose Soluble Fertiliser. Protect from snails and slugs with Yates Snail & Slug Bait.
Hint
To help keep the soil moist and improve germination, lay a plank of wood over the row. Remove once the first seedlings emerge. Sow more seed at 4-5 weekly intervals for an ongoing supply.
