Teucrium fruticans or bush germander is a frost hardy, evergreen shrub native to the mediterranean area which grows approximately 2 metres high and wide. Its attractive blue tubular flowers set among silvery grey leaves are borne in spring. The plant is mainly used in seaside gardens or clipped tightly to produce a neat, low hedge.
