I’ve moved into a beautiful house and it has a lovely Avacado tree. it’s full with fruit now. lots of them keep falling. we are watering it every day . the fruit that is falling doesn’t ripe. Also how and when to harvest the fruit. We don’t want to waste all the fruit. thanks so much

Hi Riti,

Thank you for contacting Yates.

Best way to check if the fruit is ready to harvest is to pick the largest brownest fruit from the tree, leave it in room temperature for 1-2 weeks, if it becomes soften within the time, the rest of the fruit with the simular size and feature is ready to be picked. Otherwise, the fruit will stay hard.

To help feed the tree and encourage fruit growth, try weedkly application with 'Yates Thrive Citrus & Fruit Natural Fish & Seaweed+' as a complete plant food, specially developed for boosting healthy grown and yield of prolific fruit in citrus and other fruiting plants.
Hope this helps and happy gardening :)
