Do I need Multiple Loquat trees for them to flower and fruit?

I have a single 5 year old Loquat tree and it has not flowered yet so am wondering if it is just because it is due to its age or if I'm going to need another one for cross pollination.

Thank you for contacting Yates.

A loquat tree grown from seeds can take up to 10 years to bear fruits, whereas grafted one will start fruiting within 2-3 years. I would suggest keeping up with watering and feeding, try 'Yates Thrive Natural Citrus & Fruit Organic Based Pelletised Plant Food' as a complete, soil-conditioning fertiliser for richer, juicier and more abundant fruit and healthy plant growth.
