What is the waiting period before eating fruit sprayed with Yates Baythroid Advanced Insect Killer?
I intend using Yates Baythroid to kill a large infestation of Passionvine Thrips on a Passionfruit vine bearing green fruit. Fruit expected to ripen in 2 - 3 weeks. Is this safe and how long should I wait before eating fruit. If not suitable, what insecticide should I use? Have used White Oil insecticide with little effect.
Baythroid Advanced Garden Pest Insect Killer, do not pick or eat fruit until 7 days after spraying. Remember to not apply when the weather reaches over 30 degrees celcius. During this time you'll want to increase plant health and resiliency to pest and disease attack - an application of Yates Dynamic Lifter Soil Improver & Plant Fertiliser to help moisture retention and create strong plants and roots.
