I have sprayed it with your product Confidor lawn and garden insecticide at 3 or 4 ml to 500 ml water. It does not seem to be effective. Am I using the correct product?

Thank you for contacting Yates.

Looks like the fig tree is affected by larvae of fig leaf beetles. As we don't have any products in our range that are registered for this purpose, the best advice we can provide for control is to use a hand removal method. This is best done in the late afternoon when the beetles are not as fast moving. Get a bucket of soapy water handy place underneath the trees branches. Shake the branch to remove any of the beetles and drop them into the bucket of water.

Hope this helps and happy gardening :)
