Fruit and Citrus • Diseases

Hi Michelle,

Without seeing your citrus trees, it could be that they are suffering with phytophthora root rot. This fungus affects the roots of the plant causing the leaves to yellow and die and branches to die back. Yates has a product called Yates Anti Rot which acts as a curative as well as a preventative. Anti rot is a systemic insecticide and when sprayed onto the leaves it is absorbed and then travels down to the root system to arrest this disease. This product is available through outlets such as nurseries and all of the large hardware outlets.
