My sewer pipe block every 6-9 months caused by tree roots. I cannot identify the tree to chop down as there are several around the house. If I pour a solution of Zero down the pipe, will the tree eventually die?

This is not the way to go to get rid of the the tree roots in your sewer pipe. I think it would be best to contact a plumber who will be able to break up the roots and free up your pipes. Glyphosate is a product that is absorbed by foliage. The chemical is then translocated down to the roots of the weed to destroy it. It is not suitable for pouring down pipes - it will have no effect at all.
