My sewer pipe block every 6-9 months caused by tree roots. I cannot identify the tree to chop down as there are several around the house. If I pour a solution of Zero down the pipe, will the tree eventually die?

Dear Fen,
This is not the way to go to get rid of the the tree roots in your sewer pipe. I think it would be best to contact a plumber who will be able to break up the roots and free up your pipes.
Glyphosate is a product that is absorbed by foliage. The chemical is then translocated down to the roots of the weed to destroy it. It is not suitable for pouring down pipes - it will have no effect at all.
