I have gladiolas that have stopped flowering. Can I dig them up early; like now.
I live in Gippsland, Rosedale. Am working away, will not be back till July. If I do pull them up now; any special attention required.
Thank you for contacting Yates.
After flowering, the leaves continue growing and generating precious energy to store back to the roots for next season. Hence we recommend to keep the plant in the soil and dig out till all leaves turn brown and die back.
