Can we grow Quisqualis indica (double rangoon creeper) in Melbourne?

Or can you suggest any creeper close to that variety which can grow in Melbourne weather?

Flowers and Ornamentals • Plants

The Rangoon creeper, a tropical climber, MAY grow in Melbourne but only if it is planted in a microclimate environment. You would have to choose a spot that replicates the conditions suited to the vine ie. very sunny, humid and sheltered. If you don't have an appropriate spot choose another climber such as Akebia quinata,(Chocolate vine), Lonicera x heckrottii,(Pink honeysuckle) Pyrostegia venusta,(Orange Trumpet Creeper)or Clystoma callistegiodes(Violet Trumpet Vine).
