How do you save dying Pieris Mountain Fire?

I guess I need a larger pot twice the size of original pot. Not so it is a large pot a lot larger than the one it came in. I give up. I am only guessing. Teresa

Dear Teresa,

I am wondering if your pieris is being attacked by mites. Mites are a tiny insect that is not visible with the naked eye. They have the ability to suck on the foliage of the plant, dry it out and eventually kill the foliage. It might be worthwhile checking with a lense to see if they are present. Mites can be controlled by spraying Nature's Way Vegie & Herb Spray. Be sure to spray both on top and underneath the leaves to get good control.
