Is it ok to use oleander as a finely chopped mulch?

Hi Wilfred,

If you do decide to mulch the branches and leaves of the oleander, it would be adviseable to wear gloves and suitable attire just in case you may be allergic to the sap and dust that is created when mulching the plant material. It may be best also to compost for a period of time before applying it to your garden. It probably isn't a good idea to use the composted material around any edible crops.
