I don’t have success in germinating Yates’ Pertunia of Plum carpet & Neptune shaded species in Singapore

I like to check if I had missed out something? It was sowed on soil surface, covered with newspapers & shrink wrap over the pot. Placed under the sun or dark spot. All failed. Please help me.

Hi Tony,

Thank you for contacting Yates and sorry to hear that there is not much success for germinating the seeds.

For Petunia, these tiny seeds have been pelleted to make them easier to handle. Press lightly (as seeds need light to germinate) into trays of Yates Seed Raising Mix. Firm down and water with a fine mist spray. Keep trays in a warm place in the light and retain moisture by covering with glass or plastic cling wrap.
