Stalks are getting thicker!!

The Three Gardenteers is talking about growing Sweetcorn from Illawarra

Although often attacked by birds, the surviving corn has come a long way and is now standing tall and proud. We have planted some new corn seedlings and hopefully these ones will stand the test of time.

Powdery Mildew on Zucchini

I havent yet had a chance to spray my plants and unfortunately the mildew is definately here to stay.  I have just purchased the eco-fungicide and will today or tomorrow be spraying the bed. Fingers crossed this works.

Butternut Pumpkin

The pumpkin vine is growing well but has been attacked by the hated powdery mildew. Fingers crossed the spray works. Will try update you tomorrow.

FINAL UPDATE: Hubbys Potted Zucchini

The zucchini out front is growing well but still hasnt produced fruit even after hand pollination. Google searches arnt helping :(
