Sticking To The Plan

Mulch Makes Me Happy

It's a strange obsession, I know, but I love mulch.

The garden simply does not feel complete until it's covered in Pea Straw and all the 'green babies' are tucked up tight, protected from our nasty northerlies and scorching sun.

Zero Waste Policy

The first summer we grew veggies at The Shouse Garden we gave away at least four full buckets of tomatoes, maybe six.

At the end of last summer we were giving away bags of chillies and dozens of zucchinis as we pulled up the summer plan...
