Zucchini 'Greyzini'

One of the best yielding zucchinis, the grey, speckled fruits with firm white flesh are great cooked or raw. Open bushy habit makes this an ideal garden vegetable.

Position

Full sun.

Sow

3 or 4 seeds into hills of moist soil. Thin out to two plants per hill. Plant in centre of a saucer-shaped depression so that water is directed to plant roots.

Care

Plant in a sunny, well-prepared bed with added compost or organic matter plus Thrive Granular All Purpose Fertiliser. After flowering begins, scatter additional Thrive Granular All Purpose Fertiliser around the base of the plants and repeat every 4-5 weeks while plants are bearing. Pick fruit when small and tender. Protect from snails with Yates Blitzem.
