How to grow

How

Choose a sunny, well-drained spot in the garden. Dig soil well and add Yates
Blood & Bone and Yates Superphosphate before planting. Form a groove about 1cm deep into the moist soil. Place the tape flat in the bottom of the groove (remember the tape can be cut to any length) and lightly cover. Keep well watered. Allow 15-30cm between rows. Thin young plants if necessary.

Care

Apply Yates Thrive Soluble Plant Food regularly and keep seedlings well watered. Make successive sowings every few weeks.

Hints

For a constant supply of carrots sow at 4-5 weekly intervals. Protect from snails and slugs with Yates Blitzem Snail & Slug Pellets. Easy to handle - saves time and work, pre spaced seeds - less thinning out, versatile - sow tape any length required, environmentally friendly.
