Sow direct where they are to grow in well drained, damp soil. Cover with Yates Seed Raising Mix and firm down. Do not water for a couple of days after sowing. Best results are achieved when soil temperature is consistently above 20 degrees Celsius. Make successive sowings every few weeks
Grow in a sunny, well drained position. For best results prepare soil by digging in Yates Blood & Bone and begin applying Yates Thrive Soluble Flower & Fruit Plant Food when flower buds form. Pick young beans regularly for maximum yield. Protect from snails and slugs with Yates Blitzem.
Great companion plant for carrots, cucumber, cauliflower, beetroot, parsley, parsnip, lettuce & cabbage. Avoid over watering - seeds may rot before germination if soil is too wet. Avoid sowing too early, or sowing into hard, compacted soil. If required, hill up soil around growing plants for support. Dwarf (bush) Beans do not require trellis to climb on, but if long tendrils appear (particularly during prolonged cloudy weather) trim these to maintain bushy habit.
