How to grow

How

For best results raise in trays of Yates Seed Raising Mix. Firm down and keep moist. Transplant when about 7cm high.

Care

Choose a well drained sunny position. Prepare soil by adding Yates Blood & Bone or Dynamic Lifter Organic Plant Food. Apply Yates Uplift Organic Liquid Fertiliser fortnightly for a good yield. Cut the centre head just before flowers open. Plant in a different position each year to avoid soil-borne diseases

Hint

Great companion plant for beans, beets, tomatoes, cucumber and potatoes.
