How to grow

How

Each seed is a cluster of 1-4 true seeds in a corky outer coating. Soak for two hours before sowing to ensure water penetrates to seeds. Sow direct where they are to grow or in trays of Yates Seed Raising Mix. When 3-5cm tall, separate clustered seedlings and transplant.

Care

Grow in a sunny, well-drained position. Incorporate compost and Yates Blood & Bone into soil before planting. Make successive sowings every few weeks. Water at base of plant to reduce risk of disease.

Hint

Great companion plant for beans, broccoli, lettuce, onions, potatoes and peas. Pick young leaves and add to salad mixes.
