Each "seed" is a cluster of 1-4 true seeds in a corky outer coating. Soak for two hours before sowing to ensure water penetrates to seeds. Sow direct where they are to grow or in trays of Yates Seed Raising Mix. When 3-5cm tall, separate clustered seedlings and transplant.
Grow in a sunny well-drained position. Apply Yates Thrive Soluble Plant Food regularly and keep seedlings well watered. Make successive sowings every few weeks. Protect from snails and slugs with Yates Blitzem.
Great companion plant for beans, broccoli, lettuce, onions, potatoes and peas. Pick young leaves and add to salad mixes.
