Direct into garden. Cover with Yates Seed Raising Mix, firm down and keep moist. Thin later to 20cm apart.
Grow in full sun but protected from wind. Good drainage is essential. Apply Yates Thrive Soluble Plant Food regularly. Use leaves finely chopped in soups, salads, egg, fish and meat dishes. Seeds can be used like the leaves, and also in cakes and breads. Protect from snails and slugs with Yates Blitzem.
Great companion plant for beets, carrots, coriander, cucumbers and tomatoes. If left to flower, Dill will attract many garden-friendly insects that control aphids.
