Sow direct where they are to grow. Cover with Yates Seed Raising Mix, firm down and keep moist.
Grow in full sun in winter and part shade in summer. Incorporate compost and Yates Blood & Bone into the soil before planting. Use the fresh young leaves for flavouring. Mature plants will flower and seed. When seeds begin to brown, you can cut the stems and place upside down in paper bag to dry for later use in cooking.
Great companion plant for carrots, broccoli, cabbage, brussels sprouts, cauliflower and rocket. Seeds can be added to soups, pies and sweet dishes.
