Sow direct where they are to grow or into trays of Yates Seed Raising Mix. Cover, firm down and keep moist. Transplant when 5cm high.
Choose a sunny, well drained, wind-sheltered position. Add Yates Blood & Bone and Garden Lime before planting, and fertilise regularly with Yates Thrive Soluble Flower & Fruit Plant Food. Keep well watered. Protect from snails and slugs with Yates Blitzem.
It is said that to reduce the numbers of single-flowered stocks, remove those seedlings with the darkest-coloured leaves. Water at base of plants to reduce risk of disease.
Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
