This fragrant carnation produces a multitude of large, double-fringed blooms in a wide variety of colours. Ideal for perennial borders, open garden beds or in pots.
Sow into trays of Yates Seed Raising Mix. Firm down, water gently and keep moist through germination period. Transplant when large enough to handle.
Choose a well drained, wind-protected position in full sun. Add Yates Blood & Bone and Yates Garden Lime before planting, and fertilise regularly with Yates Thrive Soluble Plant Food. Protect from snails and slugs with Yates Blitzem
Remove spent flowers to encourage more blooms. If sown in early spring, carnations may flower in 12-15 weeks.
Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
