How To Grow Crassula


Succulents are truly amazing plants. Commonly known as a Jade Plant, Lucky Plant or Money Tree (Crassula ovata) this group of plants are laid back to the max.

It’s not just the ease of care that makes this group appealing, it is also the variety that is available.

From the ‘Red Edge’ with its flat leaves to the ever popular ‘Gollum’ and its elongated leaves with the oval tips, these plants are sure to impress.

Position: Indoors in a well lit spot.
Water: Water occasionally, allowing the plant to dry out between watering.
Soil: Well drained

How to grow:

Step 1: Choose a pot just deeper than the existing root-ball and position indoors in a area full sun but is sheltered from the harsh afternoon sun. 
Step 2: Partially fill the pot with quality potting mix, such as Yates Premium Potting Mix
Step 3: Remove the plant from the container, gently tease the roots. 
Step 4: Position in hole and backfill with potting mix, gently firming down. Water in lightly. 
Step 5: Feed lightly with Yates Dynamic Lifter Liquid Concentrate in Spring.
