Medium_img_5089 Weed in lawn

Could you please identify the weed in the photo attached. It has tiny purple flowers. I am looking for a weed and feed to use to eradicate it.
Thanks,
Matt

Answer: Hi Linda,

Thank you for contacting Yates for weed ID, after extensive research the closest one I can find is Persian speedwell, you can check the following website to compare in details with the weed you have. https://extension.usu.edu/weedguides/files/uploads/Scrophulariaceae.pdf

You can still use any selective herbicide to control the weed. The product you may like to try is Yates Buffalo pro, it’s a selective herbicide that only kills broad leaf weeds but not your grass.

Hope this helps and happy gardening.

Best Regards,
Louise
