Answer: Hi Alexander,
Without seeing the flower, I can’t give an exact answer, but plants with square stems tend to fall into two plant families – Lamiaceae (Mint, Sage family) or Verbenaceae (Teak, Verbena). My guess is that it’s in the latter judging by the leaf shape.
