Answer: Hi Elizabeth,
Sorry to hear that your roses are looking so poorly. Now is the time that they should be putting on new growth and budding nicely for you. Roses do suffer attack from a number of pests some of them being, aphids, budworm, thrips, two-spotted mite and whitefly. To control these pests, you will need to spray on a fortnightly basis with Rose Shield.

Now is the time to ensure that your roses are well fertilised, mulched and watered so that they grow strongly with lush, green growth and develop lots of buds to produce those beautiful, perfumed flowers. To ensure that your roses receive all the nutrients they need, we would recommend that you apply Dynamic Lifter Plus Organic Based Flower Food every 6 weeks to keep them healthy and growing strongly.

Apply a mulch of sugar can mulch around your roses and watering regularly, particularly when the weather is hot.

I am sure will all this care, your roses will respond well rewarding you with lots of beautiful blooms. Happy gardening.
