Hi there I have 2 standard roses I am wanting to move and replant. When is the best time to do this?

The positions is south facing with sea breezes, we are located in Melbourne.

Answer: The best time to move roses is during winter – when they are dormant. You could probably move them now, (preferably on a cooler day) but be prepared to water them well and apply a root tonic such Yates Uplift Plant Starter and Root Booster to the soil every week for four weeks.
