Lime sulfur after rose pruning

Hi, read somewhere to spray roses with lime sulphur immediately after pruning and then to also spray them a week later. Do I spray them a second time and can I spray them throughout the year with this product?

Answer: Hi Jill,
Lime sulphur can be used as a winter spray for roses after pruning. The rate is 20 mL/L of water and it is applied to all parts of the bush.

Lime sulphur can also be used to control rust, two spotted mite and powdery mildew on roses throughout Spring, Summer and Autumn but the rate required is lower. Only 10 ml/L water is required and it is applied to the leaves as necessary.
