pruning time for roses in my area

I live on Central Coast NSW. Do I prune my roses now or wait a little longer?

Answer: Hi Liz,
It is a bit too early to prune the roses now. You could do a light tidy up now but wait until July before you prune heavily. If the roses are pruned too early new foliage may be produced and this could be burnt or destroyed by the cool weather or frost.
I have attached some tips from Judy Horton on rose pruning.
