What do I give the soil to grow healthy roses that are already planted over five years ago

My garden is full of roses as I love them. I want to know what to give the sandy loam soil to grow good healty roses and what to give them when its time for feeding them.

Answer: Hi Michael,
Although roses like a well drained soil you do need to add nutrients in the form of cow manure or compost and a complete fertiliser like Thrive granular for roses (not for pots)or Dynamic lifter for roses. Make sure you use a good mulch because it minimizes the attack of blackspot.
I hope this helps.
