Is it too late to apply Yates Rose Shield now as there r already a small amount of black spot & insects

The Roses were great 2 wks ago but not now so have deadheaded & hoped they'd bloom again in November.

Answer: Hi Alan,

No it is not too late to apply the Rose Shield to your roses. In fact, during the spring/summer months, to keep your roses free from attack, it would be best to apply the Rose Shield every 2 weeks.

The black spot which is already there on the leaves, should be removed and disposed of. Put a mulch around the root system of your roses and keep the soil moist, especially during the hot summer months ahead.
