Thomas
I would like to reduce the pH of my sandy soil from 6.5 to 5.5 by July/August.

I have 10 blueberry trees and I would like to prepare the soil before moving them to my new house.

Answer: Hi Thomas,
It is possible to reduce the pH of your soil by using a Yates product called Acitone. The product is best applied in autumn and spring Apply at the rate of 50 grams per square metre and water in thoroughly. You may need to apply the product more than once to get the desired pH.
