My young family accidently walked on a just applied and still wet patch of weed n feed. Should we be concerned

My young child (6yrs), partner and I walked barefoot on a lawn today just fed with liquid weed n feed (the lawn was stll wet) - we obviously didn't know that it had been applied and didn't know for at least 30 minutes until we were told. We then preceded to wash our feet but I am extremely anxious about this and there should be the onus on anyone applying to erect a sign. Perhaps Yates and other chem companies should be mindful of supplying a sign that can be placed on the application area with the purchase of products so that others can't inadvertently be affected.

The MSDS for this products downplays any risk so what risk do you feel there is to my family for having walked on this product so soon after application?

Answer: Hi Dee,
Thank you for your comments with regard to the liquid Weed n Feed Hose-on product. What we can say is that the amount of active constituent that you and your family would have picked up on your feet would be minimal. When you consider that the active constituents in this product are low to begin with. The actives are then diluted thirty times and applied over 130 sq.metres of lawn area. The amount of active that would have been picked up by your feet would be extremely low and would not be enough to cause any irritation or harm to the skin. You have done the correct thing by washing your feet at the time. We do thank you for your suggestions about signs. Such feedback from our customers is always appreciated.
