Can Confidor be safely used on natives and gardenias? My grevillea and gardenias have sooty mould.

I have sprayed with white oil, but it only helps for a short time.

Answer: Hi Judy,
Confidor is effective against insects that are sap suckers like aphids, thrips, scale, mealy bug and bugs. Usually sooty mould is produced after one of these insects secretes a sugary substance that the mould grows on. It can be used on natives and gardenias
