speckled spots on succulent looks lacey and brown/yellow/orange patches

whole plant affected. The flat leaves of the succulent are pitted and covered in spots, there are dead patches that are as previously described and almost skeletons. My guess is a type of scale ? - not sure what to do as has amazing large creamy coloured flowers in summer which are really interesting.

Answer: Hi Penny, The small spots may be the effect of either a leaf spot disease or a pest such as scale, aphids, mealybugs, thrips, two spotted mite or caterpillars. A leaf spot disease can be caused if the succulents are watered on the leaves and there is high humidity. They also do not like cold condidions. A general fungicide can be used but you may need to check that it does not cause any damage on the leaves.
