Answer: Dear Christine,
The active ingredient in Droughtshield is a carbon polymer compound. This product will form a protective thin polymer film on the leaf reducing transpiration for 60 – 90 days. Droughtshiled acts as a sunscreen against the damaging ultra-violet rays. The product remains pliable and soft and will stretch with plant growth.
