how do gerberas best grow

im am trying to grow gerberas in a plastic pot what do i have to do to keep them thriving besides watering them

im not sure how much to water to give them

Answer: Hi Leah, water when soil feels dry to touch at 2 cm deep, or when the pots feel light in weight. Wilting plants will tell you if you are not giving enough. Too much will cause rotting. use a good soluble liquid fertiliser such as Aquasol every 2-3 weeks while actively growing and flowering. Full sun position.
