Medium_img_20171004_214019162 Paper towel germinating tomatoes. Can you plant them after they have their first set of leaves?

Submitted: 09:45PM, 04 Oct 2017
Answer: Hi Bee,

Thank you for contacting Yates.

With the tomatoes that have germinated it would be best to try and transplant them when they are showing a couple of new leaves if you can. They will require plenty of water whilst they grow.

If you can’t provide this water to them, it would be beneficial to plant these out as soon as the first leaves show so that they can get strong root growth.

Just remember to feed them regularly with Thrive Naturals Vegie & Herb Liquid Plant food for strong growth and fruit.

Kind regards
